Window display

Interesting window display in rainy day. A night gown in front, and a semi-naked model behind wearing jean. You would wonder which part of the model is more important for the viewers: the naked half or the the other half, i.e. the jean? The model refuses (or is made to refuse) to be represented in the night gown. She hides behind it as if escaping a social feminine self. She enjoys her wantoness; her delicious escape. But for the viewer, she is coyly showing what must be protected. She keeps a tension between exhibition and prohibition. The jean cleverly compliments the tension, like a vase supporting (and at the same time revealing) a rose in its full but shy exposure.
